SmartSharedHomes User Guide

We hope you find using smart shared homes simple and intuitive, but to help you on your way we have prepared this guide.

Tip:
You can enter a town or city name, a county or even a region for example 'North East'

Step 1

Enter the location that you would like to buy a property in and press go

Step 2

Review other members looking to share a home in your preferred area. You will be presented with a list of other registered users who are looking to share a property

Step 3

Use the View details facility to see further details on any members that you are interesed in find out more about. Use the Send message* facility to get in touch with any potential co-buyers.

Alternativley you can use shortlist* to add members to your shortlist to review later (You can access your shortlist at any time from the My Shortlist menu at the top right of all pages.

Finally, if you want to rule someone out completley, then the block user* facility will remove them from any further searches and will also prevent them from sending you messages

User options * These facilities require you to complete a brief registration

Step 4

Whether you find anyone suitable or not, please take the time to register your details as new users will sign up all the time. Registration is quick and simple (just click on register on the top right menu on any page) and most of the details are optional, however the more information that you provide the easier it will be for potential co-owners to decide whether to get in touch

Also be sure to check back regularly to see if any new members have registered an interest in your preferred area.
